（通讯员：刘泽宏） 为助力2025级英语师范本科生明晰职业发展路径、科学规划大学生涯，2025年11月27日，外国语学院特邀优秀校友、武汉市光谷左岭第一初级中学英语教师马朦，于新图书馆一号报告厅开展了题为“绘制你的‘英语+’航图：项目、伙伴与教师的成长三角”的专题讲座。
马朦作为2022届优秀毕业生，拥有亮眼的职业履历：她是中共党员，荣获东湖高新区赛研做中考题二等奖，被评为东湖高新区优秀少先队带领员，连续两年获得优秀班主任称号。在二师求学期间，她是行知班第十二届学员，2019-2021年连续获得校级奖学金，并在师范生技能大赛中斩获三等奖。
她以“成长的舵手”自比，回顾了在湖北第二师范学院的求学时光，从初入校园时对专业的懵懂认知，到积极参与各类师范生技能竞赛的历练，再到如今在教学岗位上的成熟从容，她的经历充满了奋进的力量，也激励着在场学子珍惜大学时光，为成为一名优秀教师积蓄能量。分享过程中，马朦学姐以“三维成长航图”为核心框架，从项目、伙伴、个人发展三个维度分享了她的成长故事与感悟。她寄语大家：“‘英语+’的航图需要你亲手绘制，每一次项目参与、每一位伙伴的相遇、每一次自我的突破，都是在为这张航图增添精彩的航线。”本次讲座犹如一座灯塔，为初入大学的英语师范生们照亮了职业发展的方向。
同学们纷纷表示，马朦学姐的成长经历让他们明白，成为一名优秀教师需要从大学开始就做好规划、积极实践。外国语学院也将继续整合优质校友资源，为师范生培养注入更多活力，助力每一位有教育理想的学子在教坛之路上行稳致远，成长为未来教育领域的中坚力量。（审稿：陈曦 刘晖）
From Campus to Classroom: Charting Your “English+” Navigation Map
(Reporter: Liu Zehong) To help the 2025 cohort of undergraduate English majors clarify their career development paths and strategically plan their university lives, the School of Foreign Languages invited excellent alumna Ms. Ma Meng, an English teacher at Wuhan Optics Valley Guangling No. 1 Junior High School, to deliver a special lecture. The event, titled “Charting Your ‘English+’ Navigation Map: The Growth Triangle of Projects, Partners, and a Teacher’s Journey,” took place on November 27, 2025, in Lecture Hall 1 of the New Library.
As an excellent graduate of the Class of 2022, Ma Meng boasts an impressive professional record. She is a member of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a recipient of the Second Prize in the East Lake High-tech Zone (ELHTZ) “Competition, Research, and Practice on Middle School Entrance Exam Questions,” and was named an “Excellent Young Pioneers Counselor” of ELHTZ. Furthermore, she has earned the title of “Outstanding Head Teacher” for two consecutive years. During her time at Hubei University of Education, she was a member of the 12th cohort of the Xingzhi Program, received university-level scholarships for three consecutive years from 2019 to 2021, and won the Third Prize in the Teacher Skills Competition for pre-service teachers.
Comparing herself to the “captain of her own growth,” Ma Meng reflected on her academic journey at Hubei University of Education. She traced her path from the initial, naive understanding of her major as a freshman, through the tempering experience of actively participating in various teacher skills competitions, to her current mature and confident presence in the classroom. Her story, brimming with diligence and ambition, inspired the students in attendance to cherish their university years and build a solid foundation for becoming excellent educators. During her sharing session, Ms. Ma centered her narrative on a “Three-Dimensional Growth Map,” elaborating on her experiences and insights from the perspectives of projects, partners, and personal development. She left the students with this message: “Your ‘English+’ navigation map is one you must draw yourself. Every project you join, every partner you meet, and every personal breakthrough you achieve adds a brilliant new route to this map.”
This lecture served as a beacon, illuminating the path of career development for the English majors who are new to the university.
Students expressed that Ms. Ma’s journey helped them understand that becoming an excellent teacher requires proactive planning and hands-on practice starting from their university days. The School of Foreign Languages will continue to integrate high-quality alumni resources to inject new vitality into its teacher training programs. It is committed to helping every student with an educational ideal navigate their teaching journey with steady purpose and grow into a mainstay of the future education sector.
